Jefferey Lewis Gold

Jeffrey Lewis Gold is an experienced DUI attorney who has been in practice since 1985. His education began in 1983, when he received his law degree from the respected Hasting's College of Law in San Francisco. In 1982, he was nominated for best appellate and oral argument in the Snodgrass Moot Court Competition. Mr. Gold was admitted to the California State Bar in December 1983. He received a degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkley where he would go on to receive a Ph.D. in English Literature as well.

Mr. Gold began working as a liability defense associate with Bronson, Bronson, & McKinnon in Los Angeles from 1984 to 1985. From 1986 to 1988, he worked as Deputy District Attorney and Criminal Prosecution Deputy Public Defender for Los Angeles County. From there, he worked for McKeown & Mitchell in Beverly Hills as an associate in civil litigation from 1988 to 1990.

In 1990, he moved on to work as an associate in civil litigation for Graiwer & Goldberg in Los Angles where he would remain until 1992. He continued working as an associate in civil litigation at the Law Offices of Stephen Verchick in Beverly Hills from 1992 to 1993. In 1993, he opened his own practice in Los Angeles in criminal defense and workers' compensation. In 1998, he returned to work as an associate in criminal defense at the Law Offices of Lawrence Taylor in Long Beach.

In 2000, he formed a partnership with Nigel Roy Witham to create Gold & Witham.

Mr. Gold is associated with the Orange County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) and California Deuce Defenders.
